LSU community comes together for 10K run in Baton Rouge

Fans of the Bayou Bengals who are looking to get active as the temps start rising are in luck as an anticipated fun run returns to Baton Rouge.

The Our Lady of the Lake Health Tiger 10K will welcome registered participants this April for a friendly and fun road-running event that includes a 10K, 5K, and kids’ mile race. Organizers are hoping to bring the greater LSU community together, including faculty, staff, alumni, students, and fans.

The 10K and 5K races will be open to adults, while the mile race is open to children 12 and under. No experience is required to sign up and participate in the memorable run, which will end inside LSU Football’s Tiger Stadium. Organizers of running events can use banner printing to promote the event and provide visibility for its sponsors, all while welcoming runners across the finish line.

The 50-yard-line on the football field will be the finish line for this year’s event. After the run, participants can stay to enjoy a tailgate party with cold beverages, music, and good food to celebrate the accomplishments of all who sign up.

The race will be held at Tiger Stadium, located at North Stadium Road in Baton Rouge. It will kick off at 8:00 AM on Sunday, April 19th. Registration is $60 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K, and $25 for the kids’ mile run online.
