The Baton Rouge Art Market (BRAM) is returning to the city in the first half of June.
The tradition is over 20 years old and provides an opportunity for local vendors to sell handmade goods, including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, home decor, and textiles, as well as support local artists, farmers, and makers from within and around the city.
The event, which is presented by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, promotes area businesses and creative work while giving visitors a chance to meet local vendors and hear the stories behind their products.
Other than art products and shops, the market will also consist of engaging activities, such as live music and art demonstrations and provide opportunities for community engagement.
Vendors participating in this sort of market may wish to take advantage of nearby Print shops for banner and poster printing. Services such as these can support event promotion and improve visibility while communicating important information to participants and the public.
The market will open on Saturday, June 6 from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. It will be located at the corner of 5th Street and Main Street in downtown Baton Rouge, alongside the famous Red Stick Farmers' Market. Admission to the event is free to the general public, while those participating as vendors pay a fee of $25.
