Baton Rouge is set to host a breast cancer fundraiser next month as the BUST Breast Cancer Fashion Show returns to the Crowne Plaza Executive Center.
The event, organized by Woman’s Hospital Foundation, centers on a bra art fashion show in which breast cancer survivors walk the runway wearing unique “bras-of-art” created by local artists. The evening also includes a chef showcase, silent and live auctions, and opportunities for attendees to support life-saving mammograms through direct donations. All funds raised at the event benefit local breast cancer patients and survivors.
Individual tickets will be available online closer to the event or through the GiveSmart BUST Breast Cancer platform. Meanwhile, group tables can be booked for corporate teams, friends, or families, and sponsorship tiers range from local business “Designer” levels to top-tier “VIPink” partnerships. Other custom donations can be made on the GiveSmart Donation Portal, starting at $10. Organizers of events like this may also work with local Print shops to produce Banners, Posters, and other promotional materials to build excitement, encourage attendance, and enhance the overall event experience for attendees.
