Baton Rouge residents looking for a setting to let creativity grow and flow are in luck, as a painting session based around their pets is coming to town.
The Pop Art Your Pet session will begin in a few weeks, allowing interested parties to transform a photo of their pet into a colorful piece of art for home decor or a gift. The gathering is expected to be a huge hit with pet lovers in the region who want to celebrate their furry companions.
An experienced instructor will lead participants through the process of crafting a masterpiece to take home, using either pop art colors or a more subtle set of earth tones. Interested parties will need to submit a photo of their pet at least 72 hours before the creative session is scheduled to begin. Printing services are an excellent resource for printing the canvases for such events to improve the guest experience.
All supplies will be provided to enrollees, and students are welcome to bring snacks from home. Guests can paint the same image four times, or may opt to do two images twice.
Create Studios in the Mid City neighborhood of Baton Rouge will host the creative experience on Friday, August 15, starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets can be reserved online for $55.20 per participant.
