Spooky Halloween events for Louisville families

The Louisville Zoo will be hosting fun, spooky, and family-friendly events in Louisville this October.

Louisville residents have a month to plan an outing to these fun events. The first is Boo at the Zoo, which will run from Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week from September 30 through October 29, from 5pm until 10pm. The zoo will be transformed into a living storybook with costumed characters from the pages of favorite children’s stories strolling around the grounds in this after-hours event. Children can meet their favorite characters and have their photographs taken with them.

Large events both indoors and outdoors may use banner printing services to promote to locals.

Tickets to Boo at the Zoo are $7 for Louisville Zoo members 3 years and older. The cost for nonmembers is $13.50. The event is free for those under 3 years of age.

The Jack O’Lantern Spectacular is a free event taking place in Iroquois Park from Sunday, October 3 until Tuesday, October 31. The fun starts at dusk and continues on Sundays through Thursdays until 10 pm; hours on Friday and Saturday are extended to 11pm. Thousands of hand-carved pumpkins will be scattered throughout the park, illustrating this year’s theme “Wanderlust: The World is Your Pumpkin”. Pumpkins lining paths throughout the park will illuminate “bucket list” destinations from around the world.
