Louisville quilt guild to hold exhibition

Louisville Nimble Thimbles Quilt Guild will sponsor the 4th Annual Children's Quilt Show in July for community youths to have an opportunity to display their creative works.

Louisville Nimble Thimbles Quilt Guild is a nonprofit organization that provides a space for quilters of all ages and skill levels to meet, share ideas and experiences, and give back to the community. The organization holds workshops, classes, and activities for its members to learn from each other, as well as participating in charitable activities for the Louisville community.

The Children’s Quilt Show will feature the talents of youth ages 17 and younger. The show will enable the young quilters to display their own handmade quilt. The design of the quilt and the technique used to make it will be entirely up to the quilter. A finished quilt is the only requirement for it to be eligible for entry. Quilters are also allowed to receive as much assistance as they need.

Exhibitions are often events that require the use of staging materials such as Posters and Banners, each of which can be printed at businesses specializing in both banner and poster printing.

The quilt show will take place on Saturday, July 16, beginning at 11:00 am. The South Central Regional Library on 7300 Jefferson Boulevard will serve as the venue.
