Already part of the Louisville business community, ISCO provides piping solutions for organizations worldwide. The company will now be spending a million plus dollars to build a new facility to increase its fabrication capabilities. According to a recent press release the company says its enlarged footprint in the city will add 50 full-time jobs.
Print shops supply employee handbooks, custom attire and other items businesses need for new hires.
The company will be investing $12.75 million in the Louisville area with the upcoming project to be located on Johnsontown Road. It is a family-owned business now being led by the sons of its founder that has expanded to 30 facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Mark Kirchdorfer, the president of ISCO said this concerning the expansion:
“ISCO is proud to make an investment in innovation here in Kentucky. As we prepare for future growth, we will continually invest back into the business.”
ISCO was founded in Louisville in 1962 and has its headquarters in the city on Witherspoon Street. The company moved its fabrication facility to Riverport in Louisville in 2007 where 75 people are employed.
Completion of the project is expected to take a year, lasting from June 2025 to June 2026.
