What's Happening in Louisville, KY…

Wiltshire Pantry to go downtown

A popular Highlands bakery, Wiltshire Pantry, is opting for a prime downtown address for its second location, which will open next month.

Susan Hershberg explained that she viewed the old Atlantic No.5 location at 605 West Main Street to be the perfect turnkey location. The former location will undergo a fresh coat of paint and some rebranding, yet will retain most of its interior design.

A flyer printing service can prove beneficial in making local office workers aware of a new eatery or other service they may wish to avail themselves of before they return home from work.

Louisville shoppers will find the same pastries that have made Wiltshire Pantry popular at its other locations. Additionally, the newly hired executive chef, Oliver de la Garza, is putting together a breakfast and lunch menu for the downtown location. The chef will also be overseeing the Wiltshire Speed Art Museum location’s catering.

Humana and other downtown employers have delayed their original plan to bring workers back to the office right after Labor Day to mid-October due to rising pandemic concerns. This has worked out well for Hershberg, who already had a fall grand opening in mind to give her executive chef adequate time to hire a staff and hold any necessary training.

The downtown Wiltshire Pantry will open sometime in October and will operate 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
