NuLu is one of Louisville’s most vibrant neighborhoods and a great location for exploring the city’s culture and cuisine and soon residents will also be able to taste a bit of New York City with the addition of Magnolia Bakery.
The abundance of trendy restaurants boutique shops and art galleries in NuLu makes it a popular location with both residents and visitors to Louisville. which explains why Alex Nessenthaler, a Louisville native chose the neighborhood for the bakery. Nessenthaler’s familiarity with Magnolia Bakery can be traced back to her time in New York City where she worked for a time.
Both banner printing and flyer printing are services any new eating establishment will want to consider for their grand opening.
The new Louisville bakery is already under construction and will join Sake A Go Go, on East Market Street in the New York City-based Zyyo’s Zen 620 development and is anticipated to cost $225,000. The 1,500-square-foot store is anticipated to open in late summer.
Louisville’s Magnolia Bakery will join the company’s other dozen U.S. locations, although it will be only the second franchise location in the country.
Known for its signature “world famous” banana pudding and red velvet cupcakes, Magnolia Bakery was founding in New York City in 1996. It has been featured in several television shows including “Sex and the City” as well as in the film “The Devil Wears Prada”.
