This position will provide for Goodlett, an opportunity to showcase his design talent and expertise via the Festival’s 2026 Official Merchandise Line items such as Mugs, glassware, clothing and accessories among others. As Official Poster Artist, Goodlett has earned yet another impressive “feather for his cap” to join his work featured at the White House Visitor Center, Sports Illustrated and Heaven Hill Distillery.

Goodlett, whose artwork has appeared in galleries across Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee, attained his Bachelor of Arts from Bellarmine University before going on to the University of Louisville where he earned his Master of Fine Arts. He began his career as a weekly illustration contributor to Louisville Magazine. In 2018 Goodlett published “The Meatshower”, his first book.
The official unveiling of Goodlett’s 2026 Kentucky Derby Festival will take place in February.
