In the West Louisville neighborhood of California, Heaven Hills Brands and Change Today Change Tomorrow are coming together to create a new community garden near its Bernheim Distillery.
The new garden will be the first of many improvements the Heaven Hill’s company plans to institute in the neighborhood via its Heaven Hill’s Spirited Neighbor Community Grant Program. The company invested $250,000 in the program, which is an initiative to boost the California neighborhood and others in proximity to its Bernheim Distillery.
Informing the public of new quality of life initiatives designed to enrich the community is among the many messages that can be amplified using flyer printing.
In speaking about the project, L.P. Brewer, community relations and diversity coordinator for Heaven Hill, explained that there will be a lot going on at the site in addition to the garden space. Elaborating on the extensive plans the company has for the entire community space,he said:
"It's also going to be a place where they are going to have live music. They are going to build a stage there is going to be some canopies over here for the shade. It's going to be a farmer's market every Sundays. There are a lot of big ideas coming down the pipeline."
Constructing the garden is being carried out by volunteers from throughout the community, including almost 40 who are employed by Heaven Hill.
