Sibling story comes to Louisville
The Actors Theatre’s Annual Community Conversation: The Brothers Size will be presented in Louisville beginning in January. The story is that of brotherly love accompanied by Louisiana Bayou culture and rhythm.
The Actors Theatre’s Community Conversation program is in the 10th year. The events explore topics that are found in the cultural presence in Louisville.
The moderator for the conversation is Jean West, who is the Host and Producer for Jean West’s Medical Digest, WAVE-3 TV. Panelists include local government and county court representatives, such as Sadiqa Reynolds and Judge Richard Fitzgerald.
Cultural and performing arts venues typically order catalog printing from a local print company. The catalog serves as a program for attendees and can contain the event information, history, performers, sponsors, and advertisers. By selling advertising in the catalog, revenues can be produced to offset the cost of printing such pieces of memorabilia.
The event will kick off with a reception on January 15 at 6:30 pm, with the performance at 7:30 pm followed by the conversation at 10:00 pm. The reception will offer hors d’oeuvres and a bar and will take place is the Sara Shallenberger Brown Lobby.
Event tickets to the Tarell McCraney’s The Brothers Size are $20 inclusive of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets can be purchased from the box office or by calling 502-585-1210.
