Scent of Kentucky State Fair captured in soap
Once again, Buff City Soaps hopes to revive memories of the Kentucky State Fair for people whenever they wash their hands with its limited-edition, official Kentucky State Fair soap.
In 2022, Buff City inaugurated its State Fair scented soap with its “Main Squeeze”, which was designed to smell like the lemonade shake-up drinks that fair goes love. This year, the official scent the State Fair and soap company have come up with is “Fair-y Sweet Summer”, which combines the aroma of candied apples, mango, and sugar.
In a statement, Buff City Soap’s Courtney Aubrey explained:
Businesses that partner with special events gain valuable publicity, as well as an additional opportunity to place their business cards and promotional products in the hands of members of the public.
Bars of the handmade Fair-y Sweet Summer soap will be sold at the company’s Louisville locations, as well as at locations in Jefferson, Indiana. Only a limited number of the pink and blue bars will be made, so those interested in bringing a sample of the Kentucky State Fair’s aroma to their bathrooms should act quickly before the supply of Fair-y Sweet Summer is exhausted.
The 2023 Kentucky State Fair takes place August 17-27.
