Louisville reveals plans for Southwest showdown
The 29th Annual Southwest Community Festival will take place next month in Louisville. One of the largest events in the community, the festival celebrates the people, culture, and businesses that drive the city and its surrounding areas.
Several fun events will lead up to the actual festival, beginning with a concert in the park on October 3. Spectators should bring their own chairs and blankets and plan to attend from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It will take place in Sun Valley Park.
On October 9, a community Spelling Bee will be offered for children of elementary school age, and will be hosted by Valley High School.
A pancake breakfast will kick off the festival and will include biscuits and gravy. Proceeds from it will benefit Southwest Community Ministries.
For the festival itself, there will be hundreds of vendor booths offering many items related to the Southwest, along with arts, crafts, gifts, and food. River City Street Rods, Inc. will host a car and motorcycle show.
Print companies look forward to providing the services needed for marketing and managing this type of event. A Banner printing company will no doubt create the signage needed to direct attendees to various parts of the festival.
The festival typically attracts over 20,000 people and is held at the Sun Valley Park. It will take place on October 11 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. More information is available on the event website.
