Louisville moves gracefully into summer
Starting in just a few days, Louisville Ballet School will feature summer class programs blending classical training along with contemporary sensibilities. The entity places a focus on athleticism, artistry, speed, musicality, and grace.
The school hosts a renowned faculty consisting of members and former members of prestigious dance organizations across the globe. Mentoring the students as they develop skills and dance appreciation is a goal of each staff member.
Classes are limited to a maximum of 45 students in each to ensure personal and intensive instruction. Several dance disciplines and genres are incorporated into the instruction, with styles including pas de deux, modern, ballet, pointe, repertoire, and contemporary composition.
Enrichment classes are recommended to complement dance styles, including Flamenco, jazz, character dance, Pilates, yoga, and musical theatre. Injury prevention is emphasized throughout the program.
Flyer printing is a method often used to create materials in order to promote programs and educational events. The flyers can be printed in full color for maximum presentation, thus attracting attention and, in doing so, increasing awareness and interest.
Other activities within the program include field trips visiting local museums, and other performing arts entities and productions.
