Louisville gets chance to play host to Crown of Kentucky
The ‘Crown of Kentucky’ Gala has for the last 25 years been held in Lexington, but the 2019 event will be different, with Louisville being the host city.
The annual event is held to raise scholarship money for participants of the Miss Kentucky’s Outstanding Teen and Miss Kentucky competitions. Dr. Ashley Anderson, the event’s executive director, noted that the gala was a celebration of the commitment to service, scholastic achievement, and talent of some of the Bluegrass State’s best young women.
Attendees, in addition to dancing, will be able to enjoy the food and drink provided. Among the guests will be Churchill Downs Foundation President Tonya Abeln and Kate Bouchard, Miss Kentucky 2018. Moreover, guest will be given information regarding the mission of the Miss Kentucky Scholarship Organization.
Generally, the more information given to potential donors, the more success a fundraising event is likely to be. Brochure printing is often employed to ensure guests are not only informed about an event’s objective, but can also take the information home to mull over.
Everyone connected to the event are pulling for Louisville’s first Gala to bring in the highest-ever donations for the scholarship fund. The Crown of Kentucky Gala will be held at the recently-opened Starting Line Suites at Churchill Downs and will take place on March 16, at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $65 per person.
