Louisville dancers about to get into motion
Louisville’s Winter Showcase and Dance is a chance to share an exciting evening with people who enjoy watching or participating in ballroom dancing. On the evening, people are invited to come and watch both professional and amateur ballroom dance performances that will be performed by instructors, as well as students.
Probably promoted locally using poster printing services, this festive showcase is a great way to see performances featuring ballroom, samba, cha cha, swing, salsa, waltz and many other styles performed lived. Guests can watch as the dancers take to the floor with their sweeping gowns and great costumes.
After the afternoon showcase, the evening will get underway with an open-to-the-public dance. The D.J. will be the ‘Wildman’ Louis St George, who will spin out many memorable numbers that get the audience members firmly on the dance floor. Dancers interested in performing during this event are still being accepted and, afterwards, guests are invited to Al J’s at the Conservatory to grab a bite and a beverage.
Lousiville’s Winter Showcase and Dance is happening on Sunday, December 16 staring at 3:00 pm and going into the wee hours of the morning, by choice, at the Galt House Hotel located at 140 North 4th Street in Louisville, Kentucky. Tickets for this event are $16 in advance or $20 at the door and all are welcome.
