Local chamber to honor members at annual luncheon
The 2015 BOOM (Best of Our Members) Awards Luncheon is taking place this May in Louisville. It is presented by the Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce.
Some of the awards that are set to be handed out include New Member Business of the Year (which must have been in operation for two years or less), Leadership Award, Community Involvement (charitable donations and community projects), and Volunteer of the Year.
The luncheon will be a networking opportunity for both chamber members and nonmembers. There will be plenty of time to briefly talk about business, learn the secrets of the award winners, and exchange business cards with peers.
With the awards in mind, many of those planning to attend this Louisville event may choose to place a new business card printing order with their regular printing company. They will no doubt want to make sure that their cards carry the most current information.
Nominations are still being accepted for the awards until May 8, and chamber members can nominate themselves or their business.
