Kentucky keeps on trucking
The Mid-America Trucking Show will roll into Louisville in the spring of 2015.
It is the biggest annual event of its kind in the world, and takes place at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville.
The Mid-America Trucking Show is expected to attract 70,000 or more attendees, along with more than 1,000 exhibitors. People come from across the globe to attend the trucking show.
The show provides an environment for industry professionals to explore new trends, technology, and news through the exhibits, demonstrations, events, and networking opportunities.
Exhibitors should consider working with local print companies for products they may need for the event. Banner printing is a common project as exhibitors always have signage in their booths. The banners are printed on heavy vinyl to be hung above the booth, in the back, or across the front table.
Begun in the early 1970s, the Mid-America Trucking Show was started by Paul K. Young. The goal was to create the largest and most diversified show of its type in the country. The first show was held in 1972 with just 4,000 visitors and 83 exhibitors. It occupied just a smaller portion of the West Wing in the old Kentucky Fair and Expo Center.
