Galt House prepares for holidays
Though we are still some months away, the Galt House Hotel in Louisville is actively scheduling activities for the 2014 holiday season. ‘Pam Tillis & Friends: A Kentucky Christmas Dinner Show’ has been confirmed as one of the highlight attractions.
Tillis is a country musician whose holiday show will feature traditional Christmas songs in addition to her popular favorites. She has had six number one hits and 14 songs in the top 10. She won Female Vocalist of the Year in 1994, awarded by the Country Music Association, and also won a Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration in 1998 for ‘Same Old Train’.
Daughter of the famous country singer Mel Tillis, Pam first appeared on stage with her father at the young age of eight and has been a participating member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2000. Aside from the Christmas hits, those attending this festive event may hear some material from last year’s album ‘Dos Divas’, which Tillis recorded with fellow country music star Lorrie Morgan.
