For the 23rd year WFPK will sponsor a free series of Waterfront Wednesday concerts on the Big Four Lawn at Waterfront Park here in Louisville.
The first of the series will take place on April 23 featuring Cam Clark & His Orchestra followed by Momma and later The Verve Pipe. The event opens at 5 pm near the Big Four Bridge with the music commencing at 6 pm.
The concerts are scheduled monthly and feature three musical acts. Future dates in the series are May 28, June 25, July 30, August 27 and September 17. In addition to the music these events will also feature vendor booths, food trucks and from 5 pm to 8 pm a Waterfront KidsDay each month with hands-on activities and a dedicated area for families and children. Prepaid parking will be available at Riverside Parking and Lynn Family Stadium.
A variety of businesses purchase booth space at events such as this to market themselves, giving out Promotional Products as well as Business Cards to attendees.
WFPK is offering a Super Fan prize package that Waterfront Wednesday fans can enter. The winner will receive a reserved parking place at each 2025 concert, event swag, backstage access and a couple of VIP tickets to the September 11-14, 2025, Bourbon & Beyond Festival. The drawing for this package will take place at 5 pm on April 21, 2025.
