Festival welcome spring to Louisville
The 5th annual Springfest is taking place over two days next month. It is presented by the Historic Old Louisville Neighborhood and Visitors’ Center.
The festival is set to feature street performers, graffiti artists, a beer garden, and a classic car show. Kidszone will offer lots of fun activities for the children, and any money raised will be donated to local children's charities.
For the adults, there will be a beer garden and bourbon slushies to enjoy. Food trucks will be on hand to provide a variety of dishes.
The main part of the festival, though, is the vendors. Those who have already been accepted represent local publishers, direct sale companies like Scentsy, artisans selling a variety of handmade items and non-profit organizations. Vendor applications are being accepted until May 6. Fees are $113.74 for a standard booth, $129.12 with electricity, $88.12 for a food truck, and free for registered nonprofit organizations.
Louisville banner printing firms may find that those who are planning to sell their goods at the festival will be investing in banners to bring more attention to their booths.
Springfest will take place on 1st Street between Oak and Ormsby from May 20 to 21. Admission is free of charge. To learn more, or to become a vendor, contact the Historic Old Louisville Neighborhood and Visitors’ Center at 502-635-5244.
