Festival promises lots of fun for the whole family
The 39th annual Middletown Family Fun Festival and Craft Show is taking place this September over two days.
There will be plenty of activities to appeal to everyone. Three performance stages are set to present musical artists such as the Wulfe Brothers, Kudmani, and Moondance. There will be food for purchase, carnival rides and games, a parade, and a Kidz Zone.
The Eagle Run will start off the activities on Saturday at Eastern High. Registration fees are $15 in advance, $20 on the day, and $10 for Eastern Students. Proceeds will benefit the Eastern Boosters. A dog show will also be held on Saturday. There is no cost to register and the deadline is September 4. Prizes will be awarded to the top three in categories such as best dressed, cutest puppy, smallest dog, and pet/owner lookalike.
Commercial vendors and exhibitors will be showcasing their goods and Craft Row will feature arts and crafts artisans selling their handmade products.
The event will finish off with a fireworks display with patriotic music performed by the Wulfe Brothers. Families from the area, including nearby Louisville, will probably want to attend at least one day of the festival. Local brochure printers often help advertise events such as this.
