Annual party celebrates Kentucky bluegrass music
The fifth annual Bluegrass in the Park festival is taking place this July in Woodland Hills.
Presented by the City of Woodland Hills, this is a family-friendly event that will have something that should appeal to everyone, regardless of their age.
Those who plan to attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy the entertainment, such as musical performances from Hog Operation. There will be free hot dogs and soft drinks, while ice cream will be available for purchase. For the kids, there will be pony rides, face painting, a balloon artist, and a number of games. Several official vehicles will also be on display, including an LMPD Air 60 helicopter, a Middletown Fire truck, a Metro Police cruiser, and a Kentucky Army National Guard vehicle.
This annual event usually attracts visitors from all over, including Louisville. In order to spread the word about the festival and to recognize any sponsors of the event, organizers may invest in sign and banner printing services.
Bluegrass in the Park will be held at Hardy Brinley Park in Woodland Hills on July 18th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Admission is free of charge, but donations to the park beautification fund are welcomed. Meanwhile, alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Visit the official Kentucky Tourism website to learn more about this annual event and other upcoming occasions.
