What's Happening in Louisville, KY…

Annual celebration returns to the Avenue

The 20th annual Old Tyme Christmas celebration is taking place next month in Louisville.

The day will be filled with lots of family friendly activities, holiday caroling from the St. Francis School choir, and visits to Santa Claus. The day will start off with the Santa Sprint and Stroll at 9:00 am, which will be followed by free trolley and horse carriage rides, a make and take ornament craft activity, hot chocolate, and cookies.

Several community awards will also be handed out by Councilman Bill Hollander, including the Golden Antlers and Good Neighbor awards.

Also taking place on the same day is the Old Tyme Christmas and Gift Show at the Third Lutheran Church from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. This is a fundraiser for the church and will include baked goods and merchandise for sale. Booths are still available until November 27, for which fees are $10 for an 8x8-foot space and $15 if a table is needed, while electricity is $5 extra. To find out more, or to become a vendor, call 502-896-6383.

Families from all over Louisville are sure to want to attend this fun event, and organizers may advertise by investing in flyer printing services.
