In his statement Beshear said:

This expansion project by Aegis Sortation is just the latest example of a Kentucky company continuing to reinvest in the communities they serve. I am excited to see Aegis continue to grow in the Louisville area.”
The new, larger facility that Aegis has announced it will be building will be replacing its current one at a cost of $15.9 million. Among new positions being added as a result will be engineering design, warehouse and support, project management and multitiered manufacturing.
