Aegis Sortation expansion in Louisville to create 80 jobs

A recent announcement by Governor Andy Beshear revealed that a new, larger Louisville location is slated for Aegis Sortation, which will result in the addition of 80 new positions within the company.

In his statement Beshear said:

“Kentucky’s manufacturing sector continues to grow and create incredible job opportunities for our communities. This expansion project by Aegis Sortation is just the latest example of a Kentucky company continuing to reinvest in the communities they serve. I am excited to see Aegis continue to grow in the Louisville area.”

The new, larger facility that Aegis has announced it will be building will be replacing its current one at a cost of $15.9 million. Among new positions being added as a result will be engineering design, warehouse and support, project management and multitiered manufacturing.
