12th Annual Concrete Ball takes place in Louisville
On Friday, June 10th, Day Spring will be hosting its 12th Annual Concrete Ball at the Louisville Downtown Marriott Kentucky Ballroom located at 2880 West Jefferson Street in Louisville, Kentucky. This event begins at 6:00 pm.
Day Spring is a residential community complex for intellectually disabled adults, as well as a non-profit organization. Each year, Day Spring hosts this event to thank the local construction and concrete industries for their years of support. This year the ball begins with a silent auction with cocktails at 6:00 pm, then a multi-course specially prepared dinner at 7:00 pm followed by music and dancing at 8:30 pm. This year’s theme is “Derby or Oaks Finery” and guests are asked to wear the hat of their choice for the annual “Hat Contest”. The music for this year’s event is being played by “The Endless Summer Band”. David Harrod, of Harrod Concrete and Stone, and Michael Erskine from Day Spring have both been interviewed by WHAS11 radio station. Guests that attend this event are sure to have a great time and dance the night away to the best music in town.
