What's Happening in Florence, KY…

Business lunch and learn event coming up this month

The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) is holding a presentation entitled ‘Creating an Adaptive Workplace Culture’ next week.

Priva Dhingra Klocek is leading the presentation, which centers on the importance of assessing an organization’s culture and its effect on its workforce. Facilitator, mentor and executive coach, as well as President and CEO at Consultant On The Go LLC, Klocek has spent 20 years working in change management, talent development, and cross-cultural aptitude.

Vice President of Workforce Leisa Mulcahy explained that low unemployment numbers have made recruiting and retaining a skilled workforce more difficult. Her company concentrates on the fundamental person-to-person interactions that are the foundation on which all successful businesses are built.

Attendees of the ‘Creating an Adaptive Workplace Culture’ will learn about the advantages of crafting an adaptive culture, as well as its potential influence on the whole organization and its business. Strategies for evaluating the present culture and how to build an adaptive culture will be delved into as well.

Events such as this are usually attended by companies’ senior members, although brochure printing provides a method of sharing the information with other members of management and the workforce.

The event will place on Thursday, January 10 at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport in Florence and run 7:30 to 9:30 am. Attendees can enjoy a light breakfast at the event. NKY Chamber members pay $25 for the workshop, while future members can attend for $40.
