Popular Florence dealership moves premises
The empty LA Fitness building off Meijer Drive will be converted into an outlet for High Stakes Harley-Davidson.
High Stakes Harley-Davidson is currently situated next to the Florence Mall, opposite Florence Y'all's water tower. High Stakes Harley-Davidson intends to move into the old gym at 430 Meijer Drive in search of a more contemporary location. They will also be remodeling the building's outside and interior.
High Stakes Harley-Davidson intends to renovate the glass facade and interior of the building. Highlights of the refurbishment include the addition of Harley-Davidson insignia and signs to the building's facade and the orange painting of the building's front and rear columns. The glass front will be used by High Stakes Harley-Davidson to showcase motorcycles to onlookers outside. Businesses can get a special logo design for their outlets.

High Stakes Harley-Davidson also intends to construct an outdoor canopy with space for 20 people. High Stakes Harley-Davidson official Jim Carmichael stated that in addition to serving as a customer lounge, the canopy will have a door leading to an indoor lounge.

“If you’ve ever been to a Harley Davidson dealership, a lot of people just go to hang out, oftentimes. If you have nowhere to ride, most people ride to a dealership, kinda hang out, whether they hang out inside or outside. It’s not all day, and it’s usually just a pit stop somewhere.”
