The Nature Park Event Center in Florence will host a program in February that features presentations from two local authors.
Books & Bottles is an event organized by the City of Florence that gives people a chance to hear from and interact with talented authors in a relaxed setting. The first author featured in the program is Michelle Bennington, a writer who has worked on series like the Hazardous Hoarding Mysteries and Widows & Shadows. Bennington has also written mystery books such as Unbridled Spirits and Mermaid Cove.
The other author who will be featured in the event is Wes Browne, a writer from Madison County, Kentucky who also has experience as a public defender and criminal defense attorney. Browne has worked on many short stories, such as The Yellow World, Sliders, and Uneasy. His work was featured in Book Riot's The Best Books of 2025 (So Far) and Merriam-Webster's Best Lockdown Reads. Browne has interviewed with many notable people, including George Singleton and Colum McCann.
The literary event will be held on Friday, February 27th at 6:00 pm. General admission to the presentations will cost $13.26 per person. The event will last until 8:30 pm.
