For Family By Family will organize a family-friendly Juneteenth festival at the Florence Nature Park.
The 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration is a community festival where people can enjoy a day of learning and live entertainment. The event will include historical displays, educational exhibits, and engaging demonstrations that teach attendees about Black History Month. There will also be several local businesses and nonprofit groups attending the celebration. Activities will be available for kids, and guests will get to enjoy live cultural performances.
For Family By Family is a Community Collaborative Impact Partner that aims to foster positive change and improve the well-being of local families. There are many events hosted by the organization, including annual community block parties and See, Test, & Treat screenings. The group also holds collaborative events like the Northern Kentucky Branch NAACP Annual Community Health Fair, the Celebration of Life Community Event, and the Community Circle for Maternal Wellness.
The Juneteenth party will be held on Friday, June 19th from noon to 5:00 pm. There is no cost for families to attend the community experience, and registration isn’t required. Vendors interested in attending the party can pay $75 for a display table. Nonprofit groups can reserve table spaces for free. Those with booths at similar events to this may use banner printing services to make branded decorations for their spaces.
