This is the organization's biggest makeover since its founding in 1973, and the initiative is a part of a broader rebranding to Proudworks from BAWAC. Logo Design may be required when a business rebrands.
A new training center, expanded customer program space, contemporary facilities, and accessibility upgrades are all part of the site modifications. Northern Kentucky's R.C. Durr Foundation awarded $100,000 to Proudworks, while the Boone County Fiscal Court awarded $200,000 in capital funding. Private benefactors provided the remaining funds.
The nonprofit organization with its headquarters in Florence offers a range of services to individuals with intellectual and developmental impairments. Through its employment training program, Proudworks enables people to acquire production and manufacturing skills. Proudworks offers jobs for clients by outsourcing work with nearby manufacturing facilities, allowing them to gain skills in a secure and encouraging warehouse setting.
The President of Proudworks, Jason Ashbrook, commented:
“We place an emphasis on quality of work and service. Our clients are happy to be here, because they’re getting experience and working towards their future.”
Clients finish things like rearranging boxed items, labeling bottles, and wrapping wires. While some people stay for a short time while they get used to the 9–5 schedule, others work there for the rest of their life. Proudworks offers full-time employees healthcare and retirement benefits.
