A mosaic lamp-making workshop in Florence will enable participants to engage with an age-old craft while experiencing Turkish cultural elements in Florence.
Pedalisa Art has organized this event at the Holiday Inn Florence where participants learn to create traditional mosaic lamps using colored tiles and beads. Participants will receive instruction from an expert for two and a half hours on the traditional Turkish mosaic art techniques that have been passed down through generations. They will also arrange tiles and beads into custom patterns to make a lively lamp for home decoration. Hand-made items like lamps can be presented as unique Corporate Gifts.
Turkish tea and Turkish delight will be served with homemade baklava as part of an authentic Turkish hospitality experience to complement the creative activities. The event welcomes beginners and participants aged seven and older, and can be enjoyed by individuals, couples, and groups, including families and friend circles.
At the end of the workshop, guests will receive a handmade lamp and gain insight into a centuries-old Turkish craft tradition. The lamps will need to be grouted the following day, and comprehensive instructions will be given on how to do so.
The Holiday Inn Florence will host the Kentucky Mosaic Lamp Making Workshop classes next Saturday, July 5. There are two opportunities to participate, with one starting at 10:00 am and a second session beginning at 2:30 pm.Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts
