Annual event comes round again in Florence
A charity golfing event will be held in Florence in the coming weeks.
The What A Day Golf Outing is an annual event put on in support of those with physical and intellectual disabilities. All proceeds go towards The Point Arc. This local educational institution offers targeted support and care to its affected students.
The funds will assist with scholarships for tuition for qualifying students. Patrons can look forward to an afternoon of exciting challenges, prizes, and interactive activities such as a silent auction and a raffle. There will be dinner included with ticket purchases, as well as drink vouchers for those interested. Attendees will need to participate as a team and each time can look forward to a golf cart for transportation.
The cost for entry will be $400 per team. After registration, patrons will receive specific
instructions on how to make payments. This can either be done through a check or by Venmo. Dinner tickets will also be available for purchase for $30 for those not interested in golfing.
Poster printing can be helpful in spreading the word about the cause of events such as this one.
