A special market is taking over a pair of Schererville venues in late March to bring the next season in.
The Spring Fever Craft Show (SFCS) is an annual event that is now in its eighth year. This experience is an opportunity for local makers and small businesses to bring their wares in front of many potential customers, as well as connect with each other.
The show hosts more than 200 individual vendors. In addition to artisanal products, there are also a number of food trucks in attendance, giving several options for attendees to get a meal or a treat from. Some raffles will also take place, each with free entry available.
The SFSC is a juried event, meaning the craft vendors and food trucks are selected by a group in order to ensure quality items are offered. The event is organized by the Schererville Parks and Recreation department. Information on the market is available on the city’s page on the Town Planner website.
The two venues are the Homan Elementary School and the Schererville Community Center, which are close to one another, and both offer free parking and admission. Flyer printing is a popular promotional technique for many community-run markets. The event will run 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on both Saturday, March 22nd and Sunday, March 23rd.
