A sound bath experience is coming to the Schererville area this August, providing residents with a rejuvenating way to send the season out on a high note.
The End of Summer Sound Bath is getting ready to welcome interested individuals in the Schererville area for a gathering that will help them slow down and transition into autumn. The session will be led by Beth Steffens Yoga with assistance from Lotus Sound Healing. This partnership has announced its aim of providing an evening that helps the body and mind relax and allows for deep reflection.
The evening will kick off with a grounding exercise and some breathwork before segueing into the 60-minute sound bath. Crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes, rain shakers, and other tools will create relaxing sound waves that enhance the experience. Poster printing is a reliable promotional tool to spread awareness of events like this within the community. Participants will be asked to find a comfortable position to close their eyes and drift off.
A warm cup of tea will be provided to each participant after the sound bath, as well as a chance to explore the different instruments. Yoga mats and blankets will be available at the host venue.
Now Yoga Club, located in neighboring St. John, will host the sound bath experience, which starts at 6:30 PM on Saturday, August 22nd. Tickets are available online for $35 for non-members and $30 for members.
