A Greek festival is getting ready to welcome visitors and Schererville residents in town to showcase and celebrate the nation’s cuisine, music, and culture in one place.
Greek Fest 2026 has an official date on the calendar this summer, and residents and visitors will have a chance to reconnect with their ancestry while others can learn about the European nation’s culture and history. The four-day festival plans to offer many experiences and opportunities to sample authentic Greek food while witnessing musical and dance performances.
Some culinary options that guests will find include gyros, shish-kabobs, cooked lamb, spanakopita, Greek fries, and salads. Attendees with a sweet tooth will also find much to sample and enjoy, with the event’s vendors bringing many popular Greek desserts. Banner printing offers events like this a powerful marketing tool that can be used to promote the event or to welcome attendees at the gates.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore the St. George Bookstore at the host venue to discover its collection of Books and gifts. The musical performers will include the Together Band, Sam Cappas, and the Ormi Orchestra. The St. George Dance Group will also perform.
The festival opens on Thursday, July 16 at 4:00 PM. The St. George Orthodox Church in Schererville will host the cultural festival. General admission is free to all interested parties.
