Oakbrook Terrace non-profit welcomes application for healthcare awards

The application period for the John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Awards and the 2025 Bernard J. Tyson National Award for Excellence in Pursuit of Healthcare Equity for 2025 has been opened by The Joint Commission, which has its headquarters in Oakbrook Terrace.

The first award is presented in partnership with the National Quality Forum (NQF) while the second is in partnership with Kaiser Permanente. Announcements of such applications are often made known throughout an industry with flyer printing.

The John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Awards are presented by NQF and The Joint Commission. They recognize outstanding achievements by organizations and individuals in all settings of healthcare that contribute to healthy people and communities, better care, and smarter spending. There are three categories for the awards – individual achievement, innovation at the local level for patient quality and safety, and innovation at the national level for patient quality and safety.

The Bernard J. Tyson National Award for Excellence in Pursuit of Healthcare Equity is presented by Kaiser Permanente and The Joint Commission to recognize healthcare organizations and their partners that have achieved a sustained and measurable reduction in at least one disparity in health.

Applications for both awards are due by 11:59 pm on Monday March 31. There is no cost to apply for either award.
