A night of fun and mischief centered around the popular game of Mahjong is coming to a venue near Oakbrook Terrace, and area residents are invited to join the session.
Beginner Mahjong with Mahjong Mischief is coming to the Oakbrook Terrace area in a few weeks, teaching the basics of the game in a fun setting with friends and like-minded individuals. Participants will learn how to set up their tiles and begin building an understanding of basic strategies to improve their gameplay. The goal is to help participants build the confidence to build game-winning hands against their opponents.
The experience will be led by Angela Buikema, a certified Mahjong player and instructor. She will provide step-by-step instructions and insights to help new players enhance their skills and playing experience. Organizers can use poster printing to promote such events by placing colorful Posters in areas with high foot traffic.
The environment will be a casual setting that allows guests to be social with other players. The host venue’s menu will be available, including craft beers, wine, cocktails, and comfort food. These options are available at an additional cost to the ticket price. Mahjong sets will be supplied.
Bottle Theory in neighboring Elmhurst will host the Mahjong introductory event scheduled for Wednesday, November 12th, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.
