German aftermarket auto parts company to move to Oakbrook Terrace

Bosch, a German industrial company, is planning to move its division of making automotive products for the aftermarket to Oakbrook Terrace next year.

The company has leased an industrial building and an area of 110,000 square feet in Oakbrook Terrace Tower and will be moving its 350 employees there. A spokesperson for the company, Tim Wieland, said the new site at 1 Tower Lane is more suitable for the business needs of the company and highlights the strength of the market for office space in the suburb. Among the attractions of the area are easy access to public transportation and major highways, as well as other amenities such as the Oakbrook Center mall.

Such moves attend to require the services of Stationery printers as new letterhead, Envelopes, and other such printed materials are usually required.

Bosch’s move to the building will make it its largest tenant. The building is 83% leased.

This division of Bosch makes car parts sold in auto shops and other retail establishments and is one of its several operations in the suburbs of Chicago. There are over 1,400 employees in the area, who work in controllers and Rexroth industrial drives operations, and in a unit that makes power tools in Mount Prospect. The company’s current location is west suburban Broadview, which it plans to sell to facilitate the move.
