Non-profit organization to give mentorship webinar
Next month, Women in McHenry County (WiM3) will give a talk on how to manage crises and benefit from them.
The event is aimed at women living in cities within the county, like McHenry, Crystal Lake, and Cary Grove. It will be hosted by Lisa Schuller, who works as a career strategist and professional coach. She also specializes in helping individuals through midlife transformations. At the session, Schuller will focus on crises and how individuals can harness the situation for self-improvement. Entrants will also learn about how they can break habits to find success.
The webinar is part of WiM3’s monthly mentor sessions. These sessions allow members to get together and learn from others. Non-members can also join to trial the events. Guests can join two free sessions, but subsequent attendance requires membership. Each monthly event will feature a raffle where promotional products will be given away. Participation in the raffle is optional, and any money collected will go towards the organization’s scholarship fund.
The webinar will take place on March 18 between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. The event is free, but once sessions return to an in-person format, each meeting will cost $17. Those who want to apply for membership can do so at the WiM3 website. Sign-up requires a $120 annual fee and a one-time $25 fee for the application.
