McHenry residents looking for a fun and creative way to usher in the holidays are in luck, as a paint-and-sip event with hands-on instruction is coming to town.
The Paint and Sip: Winter/Christmas Theme workshop now has an official start date, with the course instructor welcoming students starting in a few weeks. Students who opt to attend will receive guidance while creating beautiful paintings in a fun and warm environment with like-minded individuals. No experience is necessary, and the course is open to interested parties of all skill levels.
Alicia Londos will lead the course, using her extensive painting experience to guide each student and help them grow their painting skills. She has been creating art through drawing and painting since childhood. Printing services are essential for such events, allowing attendees a convenient way to make prints of their completed masterpieces to share.
Attendees can choose the painting they want to create by browsing through the course’s inspiration packets. Artists are also welcome to bring a picture from home. Supplies like acrylic paint and canvas will be provided. Guests can bring their own beverages and snacks to ensure a cozy painting experience.
The sip and paint workshop will be held on Friday, December 6th, with the doors opening at 5:45 PM and the event concluding at 8:00 PM. Tickets cost $35 per guest online.
