McHenry residents with a love of all things seasonal are in luck for this October, as organizers have announced the official date for an upcoming fall festival.
The Foxtober Fall Festival will be opening its gates and welcoming shoppers and McHenry families soon, providing a setting where attendees can get into the spirit of the spooky season. The gathering, which is being organized by McHenry Riverwalk Shoppes, will feature a family-friendly environment with activities and experiences that cater to the entire family.
Attendees can spend the day participating in a pumpkin-carving contest or shopping with local artisans and vendors at the host site. Live demonstrations will also be held, giving guests insight into how artisanal products are made. Events like this are an excellent setting for banner printing to aid visibility, welcoming guests and reaching passersby to raise awareness of what is happening.
Children will have fall-themed activities to try out with their parents, and the stores along the river walk will be open for additional shopping opportunities ahead of the holidays. Mystery Bags will also be given away, adding an extra incentive for those who stop by. The experience will be held outdoors, and guests are encouraged to dress comfortably.
The McHenry Riverwalk District will host the fall festival, which will run from 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, October 17th. Admission is free and open to the public.
