A motorcycle run is being organized in McHenry for this summer that will give local riders the chance to hit the road and raise money for a good cause.
The 7th Annual Veterans Path to Hope Motorcycle Run is making a triumphant return to McHenry, allowing area motorcycle owners the opportunity to register and ride with like-minded individuals to support local veterans. The rally will help raise funds to benefit New Horizons, a transitional living facility in nearby Hebron that serves veterans in need.
Participants will help raise money that will be used to purchase essential items for the living facility, along with necessary renovations. The facility offers a holistic approach to support returning veterans with the goal of aiding their reintegration into society after leaving the military. Print shops can provide immense value to marketing efforts for organizers by providing colorful, high-quality materials that connect with the intended audience.
The planned route will take participants from McHenry to the Bunker in Waterford, Wisconsin, to enjoy lunch as a group. After lunch, the group will cruise to Hoops in Hebron, IL, and end the day with a celebration and live music performed by Ivy Ford.
Motorcycle owners will meet at McHenry VFW Post 4600 on IL-120 in McHenry at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 27th. Tickets can be purchased online, starting at $30 per rider.
