The colors of spring will be returning to McHenry soon, and with them will come an opportunity for area residents to break out their brushes and paint a masterpiece.
The Paint & Sip: Spring-Themed Painting Party has an official date on the calendar for April, and area creatives who want to add a splash of color to their routine are invited to sign up. The event, which is open to participants of all ages, will bring community members into a welcoming and creative environment where they can create a piece of art to take home.
Participants will receive inspiration packets upon arriving at the host event, helping them find the option that stands out the most. Printing services can help organizers by designing and providing professional-quality resources like these inspiration packets. The creative experience will be led by Alisha, an experienced artist who will offer step-by-step guidance.
Registering for the class grants each person the opportunity to paint on one canvas or on two wine glasses. All the necessary supplies are provided with the enrollment cost, and participants will use acrylic paint on their works. Guests can bring snacks and drinks from home.
The Artisan Marketplace in downtown McHenry will host the Paint & Sip experience on Sunday, April 12th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Reservations are available online for $39.19 per participant.
