The Let's Get Healthy Evanston Family Fitness, Health and Wellness Fall Expo is taking place this month. It is a fundraiser for the Evanston LatinX Business Alliance and is presented by Evanston Woman Magazine.
Admission is free of charge but those interested must register before next Saturday, October 10. There are set to be many door prizes including gym memberships, grocery gift cards and spa treatments.
Visitors will have the opportunity to have one-on-one discussions with experts in fields such as nutrition, chiropractic treatments and physical therapy. There will also be Zumba workouts, seminars of topics such as cooking healthy and living your dreams, and demonstrations about child safety.
Several sections will be set up, including Kids' Korner, where Seriously Slime will be offering fun activities, along with Men's Health, Aging Well, and Women's Fitness. Vendors will also be on hand to showcase related wellness products and services. Many of the vendors will also be handing out samples of their products.
It is likely that this expo will attract people from all around the area, including nearby Joliet. Local flyer printing firms are often asked to provide advertising materials to help spread the word about such events.
The wellness expo will be held at Quad Indoor Sports in Evanston on October 24 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. For the latest information about this event, visit the official website.
