Joliet charity ball to support local animal rescue

Forget Me Not Animal Rescue will host a Regency-inspired fundraiser designed to draw supporters into an evening of costumed pageantry and philanthropic purpose.

This event, known as Lady Whiskerdown’s Ball, invites attendees to dress in period attire and participate in dance, raffles, and other activities intended to benefit the organization’s rescue efforts.

Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary champagne toast before moving through a series of themed experiences, including a selection of hors d’oeuvres crafted to reflect the era. A waltz lesson offered during the cocktail hour will prepare participants for the evening’s formal dancing.

Organizers note that animals available for adoption may be present, underscoring the rescue’s mission and giving attendees the chance to meet potential companions. Businesses and individuals may also participate through sponsorship opportunities that include added benefits and promotional recognition.

Ticket options include an early-bird general admission tier priced at $108.55, which covers entrance, a welcome announcement, hors d’oeuvres, champagne, access to all activities, and a swag bag while supplies last. VIP admission is $135.23 and features an elevated introduction, upgraded photo perks, and guaranteed gift items. Standard general admission, available after early-bird sales close, is $119.22 with the same amenities as the early-bird tier.

Many venues rely on poster printing to promote similar community fundraisers and increase awareness.

Lady Whiskerdown’s Ball will take place on February 21st, from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Jacob Henry Mansion, 20 South Eastern Ave, Joliet, Illinois.
