Comedy tour to take the stage in Joliet

Canadian comedy duo Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice will bring their longtime on-screen rivalry to Joliet as part of their 2026 American tour.

Presented by The Diamond Mine Agency, the duo’s live appearance will feature material built around the pair’s decades-long history of competitive humor, pranks, and escalating personal challenges.

Hotz and Rice became known through the television series Kenny vs. Spenny, which followed the two friends as they faced off in unusual contests shaped by sharply different personalities.

Hotz often embraced elaborate schemes and rule-bending tactics, while Rice typically served as the more cautious counterpart, creating the tension that helped define the show’s comedy.

The Joliet performance is expected to include stories from behind the production, unreleased video material, audience participation, and discussion of memorable moments from their television run. Hotz also has credits beyond the series, including writing work connected to the animated comedy South Park. The stop is part of their first U.S. itinerary.

The performance is open to guests ages 16 and older. General admission costs $42.46, including a $7.46 service fee.

The organizer lists a no-refund policy for purchases. Event venues often use poster printing to provide performer information for guests.

Kenny vs. Spenny Live is scheduled for Friday, September 4 at The Forge, 22 West Cass St, Joliet. Doors open at 7 PM and the performance begins at 8 PM.
