Ballet company brings Cinderella to Joliet stage

World Ballet Company will present a live production of Cinderella this spring, offering audiences a full-length theatrical interpretation of the classic fairy tale.

The performance blends traditional ballet technique with theatrical staging designed to appeal to both longtime dance patrons and first-time attendees.

The touring company features 40 international performers and more than 150 custom-made costumes. Sets are constructed to support large ensemble scenes, including the royal ball and other signature moments from the story. Choreography is led by Marina Kesler, with artistic direction from company leaders Gulya Hartwick and Sasha Gorskaya. The organization, headquartered in Los Angeles, stages well-known ballets in cities across the United States and has performed in more than 300 municipalities nationwide.

The production runs approximately two hours and includes a 20-minute intermission. It is recommended for audiences ages 2 and older. Doors open one hour before curtain time.

Tickets to the event costs between $63.50 and $250.43, with additional service charges possible depending on purchase method and seating selection. Tickets to this event can be purchased through the Ticketmaster listing. For additional information on parking and venue accessibility attendees can visit the Rialto Square Theater listing.
