Sesame Street fans in Joliet can take in a fun show at a local performing arts center.

The Rialto Square Theatre is hosting 'Sesame Street Dance Live', an interactive experience at which attendees can dance with Sesame Street characters, like Elmo, Ernie, and Cookie Monster. Characters will come down on the floor with the audience. Two hosts will keep things lively.

Guests can take part in special dances like ‘Do the Robot’ and ‘Shake your Head One Time’.

General admission tickets cost between $15 and $32. When purchased in groups of four or eight, tickets are available for between $12 and $17.25. For $58, there is also a VIP ‘Sunny Seats’ option that includes premium seating and a pre-show picture opportunity with two show characters, including Elmo.

For an additional online fee, tickets are available on Ticketmaster. General admission can also be purchased at the box office. No doubt a Stationery printing service has been busy making tickets for the event. Individuals often put these keepsakes into scrapbooks.

Shows take place on April 21 at 10:30 am and 6:30 pm. Those with ‘Sunny Seats’ tickets will have their character photo opportunity one hour before show time. The special meet and greet lasts 20 minutes.
